Cultivating Classroom Collaboration

1.5 CPDs Run Time 51:10

In order to cultivate classroom collaboration with support staff, Montessori teachers need to foster the strengths of their assistant teachers while guiding them in a genuinely positive model of social relationships. Skills and competencies that enrich our practice as leaders of other adults include understanding and explaining Montessori philosophy, growing strong communication skills, and nurturing the ability to resolve conflict. Practicing these skills will lead to positive outcomes for staff and students in a cooperative, peaceful, and fruitful environment.
