Deep Dive: "What Are They Doing? What Am I Doing?" Stages of Parental Development

1.5 CPDs, Run Time: 54:40

In this intensive Deep Dive, you will be introduced to the stages of parental development. You know that Montessori teachers become well versed in the sensitive periods of the children in their care. They devote hours of observation to seize the moments when sensitivities make themselves known, prepare their environments, and plan experiences to meet the developing needs of the children in their environments. However, at the end of the school day, children are released to the care of their families. Parents, too, are passing through developmental stages that parallel their children's. This Deep Dive will provide clarity about parental stages and instill empathy in educators.
