Extensions for Geography and Science in the Children's House Classroom

The main aim for this presentation is to motivate you to continue thinking creatively about extending science and geography.  Presenter Shanna Honan uses her years of Montessori experience to help guide you to a greater understanding of the organization of the science and geography curriculum.  This will serve as a foundation for exploring a variety of mediums and methods to extend studies. 

Shanna Honan is the Head of Chesapeake Montessori School in Virginia and is the program director for Virginia Montessori Teacher Education Center.   She is AMS credentialed in Early Childhood and Elementary I-II.
