Fitting Grades into the Montessori Adolescent Program

Sometimes fitting a Montessori program into a public education system can feel like fitting a square peg into a round hole, particularly when it comes to grading. In this workshop, we will explore the meaning of grades, different grading systems, and how grades can be centered around valorization. Attendees will have time to brainstorm and share sucesses and struggles, as well as participate in a framework for evaluating what grading system they would like to use moving forward.
