Join the AMS Research Committee co-chairs, Jan Mallett and Susan Zoll, as they discuss the most current research publications that relate to Montessori philosophy and education.

Jan Mallett, PhD, has been a co-chair of the AMS Research Committee. She has been a research assistant professor at a university in Texas, and a former Montessori Lower Elementary teacher. Her current research focuses on the multi-faceted student outcomes of Montessori education. Jan has completed the AMI Montessori Core Principles course. AMS credentialed (Elementary I).

Susan Zoll, PhD, has been an associate professor in education and human development at a college in Rhode Island. She has led several federally-funded early literacy initiatives including a $3.9M Early Reading First project. Susan has also been the co-chair of the AMS Research Committee. AMS credentialed (Early Childhood).
